UIS is proficient in several leading international, local and open source GIS software ranging from desktop, server and web to mobile platforms.

Accurate cadastral data is the foundation of all customer and services related billing data, this entails a “clean up” process by correlating Surveyor General diagrams, Deeds office information, existing CAD, unregistered erven and Valuation Roll data sets with one another resulting in an accurate GIS foundation.

Once this “clean up” process has been completed data from the Financial Management System and Valuation Roll must be linked to the GIS ensuring that every stand within the municipal boundaries are billed for services and property tax.

A GIS linked with consumer data and bulk meters will enable Municipalities to identify illegal connections and water leakages.

Not only does UIS specialise in the clean-up of GIS data, but also adds value to the GIS by linking:gis4
